South African Style at Cain

Cain, a new nightclub in west Chelsea, brings designer Robert McKinley’s vision of South Africa to Manhattan’s concrete jungle. In a departure from the designer’s other club creations (PM, Table 50), Cain’s safari-inspired decor includes thatch panels suspended from the ceiling, a DJ booth handcrafted from a 12-ton boulder, a zebra skin-covered bar top, and columns adorned with 70,000 African glass, wood, and horn beads.
