Indebleu Gets A Makeover

Indian restaurant and lounge Indebleu reopened its doors on July 13 after increasing its portion sizes, decreasing its prices, and undergoing some aesthetic alterations. New design elements by Adamstein & Demetriou include a new entrance with stairs leading up to the dining room and a white wall with tall slits of glass that allow patrons to see through into the restaurant’s Tantra Lounge.

The changes were implemented with the intent of bettering the venue’s acoustics—by muffling the sound, both the dining room and the lounge become more distinctly separate venues. Also new: The walls, originally cream-colored, are now a deep rust orange and feature three original works of art by local artist (and Indebleu employee) Sahara Harrington. The restaurant’s facade has been freshened up as well, with a coat of black paint and plants potted in tall black ceramic pots.
