Whether you need to attract potential sponsors, create buzz on YouTube, or simply document an event, here are a few companies planners turn to for all forms of digital media.

When Shana Glick, event manager for Gen Art Los Angeles, needed a videographer to shoot the New Garde, the nonprofit’s fall fashion show, she turned to Oh Rio Productions. The video production company filmed and edited a video of the show that was featured on The Los Angeles Times’ Web site. “Oh Rio never fails to flawlessly cover and edit together an entertaining yet informational piece for our events,” Glick says. Oh Rio has received eight Telly awards in the past three years and has shot music videos, commercials, and events such as the Costume Designers Guild awards (which the company has shot for four years) and the opening night of L.A. Fashion Week.If you require footage for internal purposes, Andeamo Video and Photography has filmed events and training videos for corporate clients including Morgan Stanley, Xerox, and Prudential. California Air Conditioning Systems event planner Sima Falatoon hired Andeamo C.E.O. John Strand—who has experience working as a technical advisor for television shows such as The Shield and CSI—to document the company’s annual training seminar. “I love that Andeamo can record our entire training seminar from beginning to end and then edit it beautifully so that it is clear and anyone watching it can understand its main concepts,” Falatoon says.

If on-air coverage is a top priority, WireImage Video specializes in getting footage and electronic press kits to media through FTP, hard copy, delivery, or satellite. The company shot Broadcast Music Inc.’s annual Pop Awards, as well as the company’s Film & Television Awards in 2007, and will film those events again this year. “Dave Adelson and Jodi Broitman at WireImage have been great at getting a top-notch crew to shoot our electronic press kit and interview reel footage, and not only make deadlines but work within our budget,” says Glenda Hart, assistant vice president of special projects at BMI.
