For Essence's sixth annual pre-Oscar award luncheon, Candace Purdie Montgomery worked with Caravents to drape the Beverly Hills Hotel in a rich palette of gold, black, and slate blue, reflected in the ballroom, lounge, custom linens, screen graphics, and lighting effects. A recurring motif of ornate gold frames decked the space, from the press wall to sponsor integrations in the lounge to the stage set. For the first time, the table configuration included a mix of round and rectangular tables, making the room feel larger.

On February 18, Vanity Fair and Juicy Couture hosted a celebration for the first-ever "Vanities" calendar in support of the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. The event at the Chateau Marmont kicked off the annual weeklong series of events in support of charitable causes.

The hotel was designed to resemble the moody landscapes seen on the fantasy show.

Costumed dancers entertained guests at the event.

Imagery from the show was used throughout the decor, including a map showing the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos.

Costumed entertainers, including fortune tellers or "soothsayers," were set up at stations around the space.

Animal-print fabrics, wood chairs, and metallic accents set the mood.

The in-the-round setup featured a stage where performers, including swordsmen and musicians, entertained guests throughout the evening.

Actress Gwendoline Christie, who plays Brienne on the show, posed on a replica of the Iron Throne.
