Vincent Drolet of Circo de Bakuza wanted to create a buffer zone between the real world and the event's surreal setting. At the entrance, guests walked through a curtain and were greeted with a projection of an eye that opened and closed. 'We wanted to give them the feeling of walking into a cloud,' said Drolet.

Another installation was a forced-perspective art piece created by Michael Murphy. Titled "Suspension of Disbelief," the installation was created by hanging a variety of household items strategically to spell out the title of the series. Attendees could stand on a floor marker to see the materials align perfectly to spell out the title in FX's style.

The 33rd edition of the Sundance Film Festival took place January 19 to 29 in Park City, Utah. Festival sponsor Acura hosted its Festival Village, which showcased the 2017 Acura NSX in a variety of ways—including a full-size ice sculpture embedded with LED lighting to highlight features of the model's Sport Hybrid SH-AWD technology.

Miami-based retail shop and event space Sparkle and Shine Darling hosted a female-focused event in January 2016. The Vision Board Soiree invited 200 women to create their own motivational vision boards with photos, quotes, magazine cutouts, and more. The boutique was transformed into a creative space meant to empower women of all ages, and guests could snack on cookies featuring phrases such as “She believed she could, so she did.”
