At Get Real Art's Get Drunk & Paint cocktail party, guests were encouraged to imbibe (responsibly, of course) and then take advantage of a makeshift artists' studio downstairs, where the gallery provided sheets of paper hanging on the walls, a rainbow of tempera paints, painter's smocks and paint brushes. The fun activity was a great icebreaker for shy partygoers, not to mention a lot cheaper than hiring a band.
