Get inspiration from some of the East Coast’s
top interior designers at the Washington Design House’s Spring 2007 Design
House, an exhibition-style gallery of eight rooms decorated by eight different
designers. Located in the Washington Design Center, the event began on April 20
and offers nearly 4,500 square feet of space designed by the likes of TAS Interiors’ André Sabbagh and SKB
Architecture’s Nestor Santa-Cruz. This year’s theme, “A Summer House,” is devoted to getaway-inspired spaces,
focusing on this spring’s hottest colors, fabrics, and home-furnishing
accessories—everything from tabletop ideas to light gels. Hosted by the
Washington Design House and Home & Design magazine, the annual event
runs through June 30; an on-site conference room is available for events for as
many as 250.
