After acquiring Canadian distribution rights for Trind Cosmetics' hand and nail care line, Verrijk Esthetics Supplies held a product launch at—where else?—a women-only private club. Robin Lee Kennedy, co-founder of Verrijk, is a member of Verity and felt many of its members would have an interest in the Dutch-made women's beauty line.Debra Goldblatt, principal of rock-it promotions, invited 75 women to the event, held in George Restaurant, Verity's in-house eatery. Kennedy decorated the space with small arrangements of fragrant white blooms from Petals, Stems, & Leaves. George supplied —what else?—finger foods such as tuna and beet tartare on toast and rolls made with portobello mushrooms and avocado. Guests received nail treatments at two manicure stations featuring Trind products and took home product samples worth about $45.
