New York Steak House STK Opens Outpost in L.A.

The One Group, the company behind One Sunset, has brought an outpost of the New York steak house STK to Los Angeles. Booth seating accommodates 120 in the main dining room, designed by ICrave Design Studio. The space features high ceilings and white-brick walls; one wall is artfully covered with dozens of steer horns. Three private rooms seat between 50 and 75 people, for a total of 220 on the main floor.

The restaurant serves cuts as large as 30 ounces but also throws a bone to non-meat-eating guests with entrées like big-eye tuna with porcini potato puree and mushroom bordelaise. Executive chef Todd Mark Miller comes from Mandalay Bay and Prime in Las Vegas, and head chef Larry Greenwood was previously at Boa and the Standard. The outdoor bar in the central atrium offers STK's own interpretations of classic cocktails. A DJ booth and a private bar are off the atrium.
