Designed by Jeffrey Beers International, the 2,330-square-foot Bond Restaurant Lounge opened in the Langham Hotel in January. In the former Federal Reserve Bank, the opulent venue reflects its grand roots, with 25-foot vaulted ceilings, the original crystal chandeliers, plush lounge seating, panels of mirrors and etched glass, and a curved rosewood bar with a 12-foot mirrored backdrop.
Bond seats 78 in the main dining room, with an additional 10 seats at the bar. The elevated 300-square-foot Dom Perignon Lounge, which overlooks the main space and is available for private events, can accommodate as many as 30 for receptions and offers guests privacy as well as views of the dining room below.
Also adjacent to Bond and available for private events is the 1,369-square-foot Wyeth Room, which accommodates 80 and comes with a dedicated bar, food service, lighting, and sound. In addition to gilded ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of Norman Leventhal Park, the Wyeth Room has built-in speakers; microphones and mixers are also available. On-site audiovisual company Smart Source is available to handle conference and event needs and can provide easels, Polycom telephones, Internet lines, LCD projectors, and screens.
Executive chef Mark Sapienza’s global small-plates menu includes dishes such as spicy clam and pancetta pizza, cashew-and-coconut curry chicken, mushroom and Parmesan arancini, and lamb souvlaki.
