Paper Chandelier, designed by Studio Job for Moooi, is a paper and cardboard version of the traditional chandelier. Showcased at the 2007 Interior Design Show in February and available for rent from Contemporary Furniture Rentals, the chandelier is part of a series of paper-construction furnishing that includes a table, cupboard, cabinet, buffet, and floor lamp. The classic look suggests density and heft, but these chandeliers are no Phantom of the Opera heavyweights. There are two sizes, large and "xxlarge." The starting rental price for the large chandelier is $500; Contemporary has yet to set a price for the xxlarge version. —Robyn Small
