On Monday night, CBS's The Late Late Show host, Craig Ferguson, revealed that he’s been booked as the entertainer for the annual White House Correspondents Association dinner at the Washington Hilton Hotel on April 26. Ferguson should fall somewhere between the last two star attractions—Stephen Colbert, who, in the words of Yeas & Nays, “made some pols and journos squirm [with] his edgy material,” and Rich Little, who “came off as dated and irrelevant.”The Scotsman announced his new gig several days after passing his U.S. citizenship test. During his monologue for Monday’s show, he said, “It is a big fancy party in D.C. It is like the Oscars for politicians. There are 2,800 journalists in attendance, Congress, military brass, cabinet. I sit at the top table with the president and first lady right there. I am thinking, Does he know I can't be kicked out now?"
