For the New York Botanical Garden’s sixth annual Winter Wonderland Ball, 300 guests enjoyed the wintry white and icy blue decor from Bill Tansey of Tansey Design Associates. Using those two colors, Tansey decorated the tent with striped carpeting, velvet table linens, and sequined chair covers. The centerpieces were blue-flocked tree branches hung with silvery-white, snowflake-shaped pearl ornaments. Tansey and Frost Lighting lit the event using mirrored balls and cylindrical blue lights around the perimeter of the tent, and placed small lights in the dance floor. And to match the wintry theme, Okamoto Studio sculpted a bar out of ice.
The benefit, sponsored by Rolex Watch USA and Alberta Ferretti, raised $250,000 for children’s educational programs at the garden.
