The InterContinental Miami hosted more than 30 local restaurants and gastronomic innovators, and 700-plus guests, on October 22 for the 11th annual March of Dimes Signature Chefs & Wine Extravaganza. Spread across the entire mezzanine and two of the second floor-ballrooms were food stations from restaurants such as Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Cita's Italian Chophouse, 1 Bleu, and Acqua at the Four Seasons Hotel Miami.
Additionally, wines from Icon Estates, Robert Hall Winery, Ventisquero Wines, and more were served, as well as confections from Edda's Cake Designs, Taylor Made Cookies, and We Take The Cake, among others.
Tables inside the ballroom, going for $5,000 each, were covered in simple white linens and topped with calla lily centerpieces from 3-D Flowers.
The night would not have been complete without a silent auction, which featured items including sneakers signed by Dwyane Wade and a harp covered in designs by Romero Britto.
More than $200,000 was raised for the charity.
