Servers offered mini Impérial Moët & Chandon flutes on the red carpet to each celebrity. Inside, servers poured 7,500 glasses of Moët & Chandon champagne during the event.

Thomas Ford of Tom Ford Designs constructed a tent over the hotel's fountain and transformed the space using the colors of natural elements such as anthracite, gold, quartz, and bronze. Design highlights included illuminated agate quartz walls and a gold ceiling.

A 20-foot-wide shimmering gold metal chandelier included 15,000 hand-tied hanging gold metal disc strands.

The room was adorned with anthracite-hued leather furniture, garnet red carpeting, and gold accent pieces.

In the adjacent Godiva-sponsored lounge, the confectioner worked with Abel McCallister to create chocolate installations inspired by romance and film moments.

The exhibition included six chocolate inscriptions of the word "Love" on rose-petal walls.

More than 50 varieties of Godiva chocolates were used to create the installations, which also included 1,000 votive candles and eight chocolate floral vases on gold pedestals holding 2,000 red roses.

Longtime collaborator Billy Butchkavitz worked with HBO's Cindy Tenner to design a look in the Circa 55 restaurant and adjoining pool area that took its inspiration from the patterns on the stone mosaic walkways of Rio de Janeiro's Copacabana beach.

Large-scale animated projections by Bart Kresa punctuated the perimeter of the event space, and an elevated, multilevel lounge over the pool allowed guests to dine, dance, and score a great view. Abstract patterned textiles turned up in everything from the upholstered walls and furniture to multiple 12-foot-long dangling display cases. DJ Spider spun for the crowd, Town & Country provided the rentals, Images by Lighting handled the lighting, Emerging Entertainment managed the sound, and Set Masters handled the custom decor elements.

A dramatic 24-foot-tall, 130-foot-wide wall by Special Event Contractors covered with black paillette draperies created the backdrop for HBO's event while concealing two floors of hotel guest rooms.

The color palette included black and sand with touches of fuchsia.

A black-and-white press wall evoked the patterned sidewalks that border the beaches in Rio—and made a bold backdrop for celebrity arrivals photos.

Given rainy Globes nights in recent years, this year Best Events built tents into the overall look of the affair so that nothing would look like an afterthought or contingency. The party space consisted of two large tents, with 10,000 square feet of subfloor to cover the majority of the parking lot.

House of An catered the Weinsteins’ viewing party for 200—but lest they feel hungry, after-party guests were fed, as well, by way of SBE Catering and restaurants (Katsuya, the Bazaar, Cleo, and Mercato di Vetro).

Decor was an eclectic mix of vintage finds, mid-century modern, and retro furniture to create a residential feel. Large strips of chocolate brown and blue decked the carpeting, and overhead fabric panels streaked across the tents for a dropped-ceiling effect.

A 12-foot custom bar and back bar for the party's exclusive liquor DeLeon comprised 2,400 of the brand’s gold-plated corks arranged to form a “D” logo.

Ceiling treatments that bore an intricate, scale-like look hung above the tented party space.

15/40's Travis Jackson described the design aesthetic as "Missoni-esque," rich with pattern and done in tones of chocolate, bronze, copper, and silver.

In the large open space, DJ Tendaji Lathan spun for the crowd and Jackson catered. Coffee Bean warmed up guests, who ducked in and out of the HD Photobooth.

The party's design blended colors from brand partners. Sponsor Chrysler paraded its green line of cars through its Fiat brand, and Hilton showed off its Teacher Trek program, which allows educators to use donated points to travel the world and write back to their students about their experiences abroad. To promote this, the red carpet had a whiteboard for celebrities to sign; it will be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the program.

E! Networks provided the night's entertainment, which included DJ MC Lyte and English-Irish girl group the Saturdays.

ELS handled the lighting, Classic the tenting and rentals, DSR the audio, and C.J. Matsumoto the flowers.

Benarroch Productions created a sleek environment meant to feel like a retro-style club for AMC's party at the Stardust room of the Hilton.

On Saturday, the Art of Elysium hosted its annual Heaven gala, with a look Visionary award honoree and designer Colleen Atwood described as attempting to make "guests feel like they are at the horizon between the sky and the sea." That translated to a palette of greys and blues executed by Yifat Oren & Associates.

Musical guests included Mariachi el Bronx during cocktail hour and performances by Josh Radin and Chad Gendason during dinner. To end the night, guests heard an intimate serenade from John Legend at the after-party. Audi was the title sponsor of this year's gala, with additional partners Cîroc Vodka and Tweezerman.

Wolfgang Puck catered the meal, and Velvet Garden provided the flowers.

Surrealist, imaginative touches filled the unique event space. David Arquette picked up the "Spirit of Elysium" award for his involvement in the charity.

Projections of stills and videos enlivened the space. Images by Lighting handled the lighting.

Event Eleven produced a pre-Globes party for Audi, kicking things off on January 6, a full week ahead of the awards. Due to rain, Event Eleven tented the parking at the last moment and dressed a 70- by 20-foot structure in 24 hours. Using brown carpet and cream suede sofas, along with Balinese baskets as pendants, the team created a warm lounge environment for overflow.

On Tuesday, W magazine and Guess hosted a pre-Golden Globes event that included a custom installation that paired cultural moments from W's archive with Guess's brand creative over the past 30 years.

The event took to Laurel Hardware in West Hollywood.

Bafta's annual award season tea party, presented by Audi, took to the Four Seasons on Saturday and included a silent auction.

Caravents was again behind the decor for In Style's beauty lounge, which offered hair and makeup touch-ups by omnipresent award-season force L'Oréal Paris, manicures by OPI, eyebrow shaping by Woodley & Bunny, shaves by the Shave of Beverly Hills, and gifts from Donna Karan Hosiery.

Caravents' decor included billowing white tent drapery, as well as plush leather and shining white furniture pieces meant to create a luxe, on-brand space for the mag. Chocolate and bright green tones accented the space, and crystals and shiny metals contributed to the sense of opulence. R. Jack Balthazar handled the flowers, and Chet Mehta and the PR-Dept. managed the guest list.
