In keeping with the themes of the Milk Music program, the Vine Studio allowed participants to create their own personalized Vine videos with the direction of a stop-motion artist. Props were color-coded to the genre theme that each person picked. The idea was to “become the genre,” according to one of the artists working in the space.

Attendees could order Galaxy Floats, cocktails made with fruit popsicles and either champagne or beer and poured into a keepsake mug. Drink tickets were given to everyone with access to the Owner’s Lounge, and guests could win more by playing the Spin to Win game, where they could also win Samsung Galaxy devices and gift cards for local Austin vendors.

Guests who visited the retailer’s tent had the opportunity to customize a Macy’s- and iHeartRadio-branded T-shirt, as well as the chance to win a prize by wearing the shirts throughout the day’s festivities.

Guests who received branded airbrush tattoos at the Jim Beam station served as walking advertisements for the brand as they roamed the iHeartRadio Village.

Guests who signed up for Red Bull Sound Select could charge their phones for free in secure lockers within the tent.

On Thursday, M.A.C. Cosmetics hosted a launch party for its new Mia Moretti collection, which is inspired by Lollapalooza and festival fashion, at Fulton Market Kitchen. As guests dined, artist Blue Logan painted the scene on a large canvas set up along one wall of the dining room. BMF Media Group produced.

At the dinner, stylist, artist, and Mia Moretti's close friend Cleo Wade wrote custom poems for guests on a vintage typewriter. Wade would ask guests "how is your heart?" or "what are your favorite things?" before beginning to type.

The 7,100-square-foot rooftop venue Touché Rooftop Lounge & Restaurant opened in downtown Miami in April, offering 360-degree views of the skyline. The concept is from chef Carla Pellegrino of Top Chef fame and includes a 50-seat indoor dining room with an open kitchen as well as a 225-seat outdoor lounge with a waterfall wall, fire pits, and a communal table and bar. The space is set up to accommodate DJs and live music and has audiovisual equipment including LED screens.

The Colonnade Hotel’s Roof Top Pool in Boston unveiled a redesign earlier this month. The 12th-floor spot now has white cabanas, lounge seating, bamboo flooring, and a 12-seat bar. The space holds about 200 people for receptions and offers panoramic views of the Back Bay and South End neighborhoods.

At 35,000 square feet, Picnic at the Downtown Grand Las Vegas hotel is a vast space with room for a number of amenities: an infinity pool, a fire pit, a bandstand, a restaurant and bar, and private cabanas overlooking downtown Las Vegas. The rooftop venue opened this spring and holds 1,500 for receptions.
