The nightclub Slate unveiled a new look this fall following a $2 million renovation, complete with an adult-sized, 20-foot slide for faster (and more fun) access to the lower level. Located in Chelsea, the club spans 16,000 square feet and entertains guests with activities including three bowling lanes, a private karaoke room, an arcade, pool tables, and more. In addition, there are multiple private event spaces and a 20-tap pouring station for Be Your Own Bartender service. Overall, the club can hold 1,600 guests.

The event’s photo booth invited guests to pose in front of a wall of festive party hats.Â

The Breeders' Cup took over Santa Anita Park on November 2 and 3. Kicking off all the festivities was a reception at the mayor's residence, the Getty House, on Halloween night. BrownHot Events' masquerade-inspired design for the affair included giving the tables a dramatic look with tall black candlesticks and Chameleon chairs from Classic Party Rentals.

The celebration, which had a "Wrapped in Couture" theme, featured a performance by Broadway star Megan Hilty who performed on a stage that showcased giant jingle balls in white and shades of gold. The stage incorporated the event's new #RodeoGivesBack campaign, which encouraged guests to bring a coat to donate to the Salvation Army and Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills.
