2. Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards

A record 800 fashion-forward folks attended this year’s red-carpet gala, which returned to the Fairmont Royal York, to honor Canadian talent making waves in the global fashion industry. TV personality Jessi Cruickshank hosted the event, sponsored by Rogers Communications, Joe Fresh, and new supporter Ravel by CF, a shopping analytics firm. Next: Spring 2020

3. Fashion Art Toronto

Returning to the Daniels Spectrum downtown event space, the 2019 edition offered five days of fashion presentations, performances, art installations, photography, and film. About 200 Canadian and international artists and designers participated, and about 5,000 guests attended, including buyers, curators, media, and fashion fans. Next: Spring 2020
