iStar Residential hosted a housewarming party Wednesday evening to showcase its newest South Beach luxury property, Ocean House, in the South of Fifth neighborhood. With 450 guests, the event was spread throughout the beachfront residence’s most notable spaces.
Greeted by service butlers offering Laurent-Perrier champagne in the Grand Salon, guests were given a legend to assist with the tour. Upstairs, the Screening Room projected old films, while the Billiards Room offered an active demonstration, and a caricaturist sketched attendees near the Library. MG Events catered the party, serving savory bites including signature satays, macaroni and cheese croquettes, barbecue sliders, and tropical pork skewers. Philippe Chow and Bianca provided passed food in the model residences..
Poolside, models strutted in bikinis and resort-wear by biKa and Peixoto, styled by Katharine Rubino of Neiman Marcus Coral Gables. They handed out interior design pamphlets honoring Ocean House’s penthouse designers, Artefacto and Steven G. An open bar was stocked with Elit by Stoli, Glennfiddich, and Conundrum Wine, and bartenders served warm-weather cocktails like the Elit Refresher and Hendrick’s Summer Tea Punch. Miami’s DJ Irie supplied the mood music via a private Ocean House terrace overlooking the pool. Guests could also enjoy fresh hand-rolled cigars.
Artefacto's Unit 403 was the first penthouse on display, supplying guests with fans bearing the Artefacto logo, more champagne and a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean. Steven G's Unit 503 featured a Milagro tequila bar, which showcased the brand’s latest cocktail, the Milagro Blood Orange Margarita, blended with Solerno, a new blood orange liqueur.
