Creative Agencies a Boon for Century City Venues

Diminutive Westside neighborhood Century City has so much momentum these days that it's even gotten the attention of The New York Times. A story in Sunday's Times noted the growth of impressive new venues in the region, on the heels of Creative Artists Agency's and International Creative Management's move into the area. The presence of the talent-agency bigwigs necessitated a need for more than the typical mall-food-court fare, and glossy new venues like chef Tom Colicchio's Craft and the Century Plaza hotel's Xbar are springing up to do the job. And The Times reports that the staffs at these places are doing plenty of work to attend to the egos that go along with the sizable expense accounts at those firms.
