* INCOMING *

1. SUPER BOWL HAPPENINGS: According to Shiv Singh, global head of digital for the beverage company, Pepsi's plans for Sunday's game in Indianapolis include a "sound off" platform and Super Bowl-themed station on Pandora. Ad Age: '"What we're doing with a social-TV platform is hosting a party for consumers and people across America," he said. "If consumers want to rate and rant about the ads, they're more than welcome to," Mr. Singh said. "[Coca-Cola's] approach is very different. The impression I get is it's a competing second-screen experience. It's not consumers talking about the game with each other; it's talking to ad characters. We care less about what polar bears do and more about what real people do and say."'

2. WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM RECAP: Special Olympics chairman Timothy P. Shriver reflects on the conference, which wrapped up in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland Sunday. "…I'm struck by the sense that there is a lot of news this year, but ironically, it wasn't made in Davos. The news is that there's a lot of creativity, passion, and even healing going on in the world but it doesn't necessarily stem from the investment bankers, C.E.O.s or government elites at Davos." Business Journal: "Eastman Kodak Company said in a new federal bankruptcy filing that it wants to end its naming rights deal for the 3,400-seat Hollywood theater that has hosted the Academy Awards for nearly 10 years. Kodak, which recently filed for bankruptcy protection, said that it will ask Hollywood & Highland complex owner CIM Group to release it from its $75 million, 20-year sponsorship contract for the Kodak Theatre.
