Fashion Week is definitely a place to market products, and title sponsor Mercedes-Benz did well to highlight this by placing two cars inside the tents at Bryant Park. But of the various lounges put together by sponsors, two did more than just provide free goodies and a place to sit and relax.
In its first appearance, DHL put together a booth that not only served espresso, biscotti, and mints but also supplied a kiosk where attendees could ship items home. (The logistics company also helped fellow sponsors ship their equipment at the week’s end.) And liqueur company Chambord made its booth into a coat check, fitting the small corner with a clean-looking closet and a full-length mirror. Some guests also received mini bottles of the liqueur along with a recipe card and T-shirts.
