1. MORE CHANGES AT KOMEN: The problems at the Susan G. Komen for the Cure continue to mount as more executives leave the breast cancer awareness nonprofit. On Thursday, Howard University surgeon LaSalle D. Leffall Jr. announced he would resign as chair of the foundation and the New York chapter has postponed two spring fund-raisers. BRINGING GAMES TO THEATERS: Promotional tactics from the Megaplex Theatre in Utah for the first screenings of The Hunger Games, as well as other big teen franchises has Hollywood Studios taking notice. "Because of what they've done in the past, you pay attention when they need more prints shipped to them. ... We have to encourage people going to the movies across the country—it can't just be focused on the coasts," Richie Fay, Summit's president of domestic distribution told The L.A. BOSTON: Today the Joslin Diabetes Center hosts the "Spoonful of Ginger" event to benefit its Asian American Diabetes Initiative. Held at the Museum of Fine Arts, the event will offer tastings from area chefs including Joanne Chang and Jasper White.

IDEA Consulting will host the EuraMedia Summit 2012 in Boston June 13-16. The event aims to introduce Russian and Eurasian media and tech companies to the U.S. market.

CHICAGO: With the theme "Brasil: Gardens in Paradise," the annual Macy's Flower Show in Chicago opened Sunday at the department store's outpost on State Street. CBS News: "Robert Lang, co-director of U.N.L.V.'s Brookings Mountain West research center, told hospitality leaders ... that Las Vegas needs to add more events to its calendar to pull more tourists from other destinations. New to the competition this year is a partnership with Martha Stewart, who is on the contest floor today and will announce the million-dollar grand prize winner during a live broadcast of The Martha Stewart Show tomorrow morning from the hotel. This afternoon Stewart will judge a chili contest at Macy's at the Mall at Millenia as a tie-in to the launch of a new line of her cookware.

SAN FRANCISCO: The final phase of San Francisco's Moscone Center is underway. Designed to meet the Leadership in Energy and Environment Design gold green building standards, the two-year project upgrades the existing space with high-speed wireless Internet access, digital signage, new HVAC systems, and other infrastructural elements.
