Pull-Ups made a splash in New York on January 29 by placing an oversize, 10-foot-tall toilet in the middle of Times Square as part of its "First Flush" campaign. Aimed at parents who are potty training their children, the marketing stunt from the diaper brand invited passersby to climb up a staircase and give the giant working toilet a flush—a move that prompted a celebratory performance from a team of cheerleaders, jugglers, musicians, stilt walkers, and staffers dressed as toilets, along with a jubilant graphics display on the nearby four-story-tall ABC SuperSign.
In the weeks leading up to the event, Pull-Ups asked parents to upload photos via Facebook of their kids' "First Flush" celebrations for a chance to win a trip to Orlando. Some of the photos were also displayed on the ABC SuperSign.
