Last week, the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel unveiled its luxe new spa, Spa Luce. A neutral palette dresses the 6,400-square-foot, modern-looking space, which features walls constructed from blocks of chiseled Jerusalem stone. Hand-laid mosaic tiles make up the floors.
A pierced dome ceiling at the spa’s entrance allows natural light to stream in, as does a glass mosaic wall created by Los Angeles artist Kim Gordon. Among the spa’s facilities are seven treatment rooms that offer a range of services from facials and body wraps to massages and waxing. The space is also available for buyout: The venue can accommodate between 25 and 50 for private parties with treatments, and the entire venue holds 148. The adjacent pool deck holds 547. The spa debuted with a cocktail party last Thursday.
