The Democratic National Convention wraps up tonight, concluding six days of community celebrations, delegate events, and invitation-only parties at venues throughout Charlotte. Here’s a look at some of the food, entertainment, and decor at events that took place.

Got Your 6 Benefit

More than 1,000 people packed Amos' Southend on September 5 for a private event to benefit Got Your 6, an initiative to help military veterans reintegrate into civilian life. The event was hosted by Lifetime Television's "Your Life. Your Time. Your Vote" campaign.

Turn Up the Vote Lounge

Rock the Vote and Pringles sponsored Turn Up the Vote, a lounge with music, food, and free Wi-Fi at the Mez at the Epicenter. Hosted by Perez Hilton, the event included a performance by Far East Movement and music from DJ Mia Moretti.

Rock the Vote Benefit

On September 5 the Foo Fighters played a sold-out show at the Fillmore on behalf of Rock the Vote. The organization is aiming to register 1.5 million voters for the November election.
