The downtown lunch spot Sandwich Box—known for its long lineups and healthy fare—opened a location at Yonge and Eglinton on Monday, its third in the city. The local chain's made-to-order grilled sandwiches come with a choice of Ace Bakery breads and (mostly organic) meats, vegetables, cheeses, and spreads (three of which are vegan). For the low-carb crowd, there are soups and build-your-own salads. Single-serving desserts include crème brûlée. Catering is available from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday for groups of four to 100. The chain will also open a location in the Royal Bank Plaza this summer.
