Lesia Kohut and the team behind LPK's Culinary Groove are now offering their organic pastries, cakes, and chocolates at a storefront in Riverdale. The Queen Street East shop—which offers gluten-free and vegan desserts—specializes in custom-designed cakes for corporate events as well as a selection of pastries (for $2.50 each) including mini cupcakes, crème brûlée and cheesecake tarts. Cookies in flavors like brown sugar and pecan can be monogrammed to incorporate company colors and truffles (at a cost of $2.25 each) are available in 13 sweet and savory flavors such as honey-cinnamon milk chocolate and orange-fire chili. Kohut plans to offer classes (for as many as eight people) on baking, pastry, and chocolate-making in the shop. Larger classes can be accommodated off site.
