Carla Warrilow
August 6, 2012

These new (and newly renovated) venues have meeting rooms, conference facilities, ballrooms, and outdoor spaces, and are equipped to handle small or large groups. Here are the 10 best hotels in Toronto for events, meetings, seminars, and business entertaining.

Groupe Germain Hospitalité opened Ontario’s first ALT Hotel on July 10. The hotel's modern vibe starts in the lobby, with an artwork made up of 80,000 Instagram images submitted by participants from all over the world. The hotel is steps away from the Pearson Airport and has 12 stylish meeting rooms, equipped with 50-inch televisions and projector screens. The largest space, the Rose Fuscia Room, can accommodate 135 guests theatre-style. ALT

The hotel also includes a 40-person screening room and a 3,670-square-foot ballroom, which opens onto an outdoor garden terrace overlooking University Avenue.
