ACTIVITY: Everybody Bangs a Drum

If you're looking for a unique idea for a teambuilding exercise or simply pure entertainment, check out Drum Café. Based in Atlanta, it opened up shop in the Orlando area this month. It offers an interactive experience for any size group, at any location they desire, using drums. Everyone receives a drum and begins to bang at his or her own pace. Eventually, a facilitator starts to conduct, and the group plays in unison for the duration of the exercise. Engagements run from 45 to 90 minutes, but can be broken up to suit a group's schedule. —Shari Lynn Rothstein
