The bilevel lounge's traditional-meets-contemporary decor includes hand-painted wallpaper, gold leather chairs, a limestone fireplace, 13-foot-high windows, and a 19th-century French limestone floor. Designed by local firm Setting the Space, the look is carried throughout the 30-room property via accents such as iridescent wall coverings and detailed moldings. Each room is about 200 square feet, and some have spacious balconies overlooking the tree-lined street.
Etro collaborated on bathroom amenities, and the Vermont-based Anichini provided luxury linens and bedding for each room. Other amenities include indoor parking, access to the neighboring Karma Yoga Studio, a complimentary continental breakfast, and free Wi-Fi. A terrace seats 10 and offers specialized cocktails from Berkshire Mountain Distillers, cheese and charcuterie plates from Formaggio Kitchen, and a selection of local beers and international wines.
There is no official meeting space, but the hotel can help book the nearby Harvard Faculty Club.
