The latest addition to the seaport district's growing number of dining options for convention-center guests is Jerry Remy's Seaport, a restaurant and sports bar with water views and 47 televisions, now open on Liberty Wharf. The space holds 300, is available for buyout, and seats up to 70 for private events in the main dining area.
The venue is the second outpost from Red Sox commentator Jerry Remy, with a menu similar to the Fenway-area location but with more seafood and lighter fare, such as lettuce wraps, grilled mahimahi, and watercress cucumber salad with seared yellowfin tuna. The space mimics the sports-fan-friendly original location, but with an upscale slant that includes dark hardwood floors, tufted leather booths, and dark brown bar seating with orange trim. Floor-to-ceiling windows along one wall open to a seasonal waterfront patio for 150.
A 42-foot video screen is made of 32 HDTV—owners claim the wall is the the largest of its kind in New England. Booths include independently controlled televisions that will soon be connected to the Internet.
