The first BizBash Boston Expo took place at Fenway Park on Thursday. With 800 attendees, the day offered panel discussions, a keynote address from Bryan Rafanelli, and the presentation of our Readers' Choice Awards. Throughout the day, 54 exhibitors showcased their wares at the trade show, introducing planners to everything from new cupcake flavors to performance artists dressed as trees. AFR Event Furnishings has new, Moroccan-inspired slipcovers with bright colors, a bold pattern, and sewn-in sequins.

Designed for indoor and outdoor events, Blofield Air Design rentals are inflatable and come in black and white. The new line will be available nationwide from Cort in January.

Boston Uplights displayed its new Angle Light, which reps described as a wireless, remote-controlled, LED highlight system. The lights have magnetic backs that can attach to railings and other surfaces.

Port Lighting Systems' Event Cylinders, internally illuminated with LED lights, can stand in place of candles to light pathways. They can also be used under tables behind sheer drapes to create glowing registration desks and silent-auction displays.
