In July, interior designer Ripley Worthy opened Homeboy. Laid out like an actual home with sections devoted to accessories for the kitchen, dining room, and bedroom, the Lakeview shop specializes in merchandise from local designers and manufacturers. Gift-appropriate items include candles from Snow and Graham, salvaged-barnwood frames from Eric Erf, and artfully designed cups and pencil holders from Soda by Amy. Down the road, Worthy plans to put together gift baskets; for now, he's happy to help shoppers group items (like mugs and flavored cocoas) into thematic sets.
