Wet Republic

In April 2008, the MGM Grand unveiled Wet Republic, a 53,000-square-foot pool area with two saltwater pools. The space features a fully stocked bar, a sundeck that transforms into a stage, a DJ booth, and underwater speakers. Bungalows, cabanas, daybeds, and chaise lounges are colored in South Beach hues of crisp white, bright green, turquoise, and yellow. The booze-heavy, skimpily clad scene is for adults only.
