Here's a closer look at Las Vegas' newest eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms, and other spaces available for events this spring. The new and renovated Las Vegas area venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, team-building activities, conferences, meetings, and more.

Orla
Orla
Renowned restaurateur and award-winning chef Michael Mina opened Orla at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in January. Drawing inspiration from Mina’s childhood in Egypt, the menu aims to reflect the Mediterranean’s lively markets and bazaars, centered on Greek-centric dishes designed for sharing. Design-wise, the restaurant—designed by New York-based firm Parts and Labor Design—features intricate tile mosaics, a mix of white marble and dark wooden tables accented by earth-tone chairs, and a large statement bar featuring cracked tile and waxed three-dimensional plaster. The dining room features a color palette inspired by the spices found in markets common to coastal Mediterranean towns; two large olive trees rise from the center of the dining room toward dramatic vaulted ceilings. Orla boasts a semiprivate dining room called The Odyssey, which can seat up to 22 guests and be configured to accommodate a variety of group sizes.

Bel-Aire Backyard
Bel-Aire Backyard
Clique Hospitality unveiled Durango Casino & Resort’s new poolside retreat, Bel-Aire Backyard, March 11. The luxury outdoor area spans more than 65,000 square feet, which includes a sprawling deck, a 7,200-square-foot pool with a central fountain, and two adjacent poolside bars—all set alongside 8,600 additional square feet of curated event and lawn space. There are also three large cabanas, each of which holds 12 people; 10 additional cabanas can each hold six people, and there are 46 plush daybeds and 58 chaise lounges with sun umbrellas. The on-site Backyard Grill has 112 seats and an expansive menu of breakfast bites, sashimi and sushi rolls, flatbreads, burgers, and more.

Mother Wolf Las Vegas
Mother Wolf Las Vegas
Chef Evan Funke opened Mother Wolf Las Vegas inside Fontainebleau Las Vegas in December. The Italian restaurant pays homage to Rome’s mythological origin story of Remus, Romulus, and the Lupa Capitolina, with Funke's menu highlighting "a mosaic of ancient, pastoral, and urban culinary heritage from la cucina Romana," according to press materials. Highlights include thin-crust wood-fired pizzas, hyperseasonal antipasti, and the pasta dishes for which Funke is renowned. The restaurant, operated by Ten Five Hospitality, seats 200 or holds 325 guests for a standing reception. There's also a private dining room that seats up to 38 people.

Play Playground
Play Playground
Play Playground opened at Luxor Hotel & Casino in January. The 15,000-square-foot space is exactly what the name suggests: a playground for adults. The 21-and-older space features 20 tactical games and attractions—think puzzles, memory games, physical games, and more—all centered on teamwork and friendly competition. There’s also a bar serving inventive cocktails, along with catering options. The venue is a great spot for team building and corporate bonding events; it can host as many as 475 people for a full buyout. For smaller gatherings, the second-floor mezzanine holds 75 and offers a bird's-eye view of the space; it also features four VIP pods that can be rented individually for smaller events. A gymnasium space, meanwhile, holds 100 guests and can be customized with games like musical chairs or Simon Says.

The Assembly
The Assembly
The Assembly, the centerpiece of UnCommons’ 40-acre urban campus located at the 215 Beltway and Durango Drive, opened in January. The conference and event pavilion was developed by the team behind Matter Real Estate Group with design by Gensler. Spanning 5,000 square feet, The Assembly can accommodate indoor and outdoor events for anywhere from 10 to over 200 people. In addition to two main indoor event spaces, The Assembly offers an outdoor space and a communal courtyard, plus an exclusive catering and welcome center. Interiors can be transformed to suit various layouts, whether it be a boardroom, classroom arrangement, corporate event, or even weddings and birthday parties.

Wineaux
Wineaux
Also new to the UnCommons campus is Wineaux, the self-described “wine market, bar, and escape” from James Beard Award-winning chef Shawn McClain, sommelier Nick Hetzel, and restaurateurs Richard and Sarah Camarota. The retail space features chilled bottles of white and sparkling wines and a takeaway counter showcasing charcuterie, smoked salmon, gourmet cheese, caviar, and more. Wineaux has an intimate, boho-chic vibe, and offers 2,500 square feet of mixed retail and space for dining, drinking, and events. It opened in February.

LPM Restaurant & Bar
LPM Restaurant & Bar opened at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in November. The French Riviera-inspired concept has an indoor-outdoor layout that evokes the Côte d'Azur lifestyle with freshly cut flowers, French shutters, and original murals from artist Sanja Kovacevic; each piece stylishly incorporates French writings, telling stories of the mythology, cuisine, and history of the region. Glass Bar recently opened at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Spanning nearly 4,000 square feet, the cocktail lounge features bar-top games for guests to enjoy while sipping on a cocktail or watching sports on one of the six television screens that wrap around the bar. The new venue also offers personalized bottle service, craft cocktails, and premium spirits and beer. Designed by the globally renowned architecture and design firm Rockwell Group, Glass Bar features thousands of crystal prisms and polished chrome brass framing the space. The clear, amber, and gray crystal prisms create an ombre lighting element, while faceted, mirrored columns reflect the light throughout the bar. The venue is located in the former Heart Bar space, steps from the resort's 7,000-seat Bakkt Theater.

Caspian's
A new cocktail and caviar bar at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, created with Clique Hospitality, is slated to open later this year. Caspian’s will be steps from the main casino floor, inviting passersby for caviar and cocktails, and to discover "what lies beyond the walls." Away from the bar and tables, a monochromatic passageway will lead guests to a Parisian-inspired music lounge. The 1,100-square-foot caviar bar will seat close to 50 guests. The music lounge will span 2,300 square feet and will seat nearly 100 guests.
