Here's an impressive new way to entertain guests in La Vegas: Cloud Nine, a gigantic seven-story-wide, 11-story-high helium balloon that offers a panoramic view of the Strip and surrounding areas. A new addition to the Strip's skyline, the world's largest land-tethered helium balloon debuted last Thursday, and is visible from miles away. As many as 25 people at one time can occupy the craft's gondola, which lifts passengers 500 feet into the air. Standard flights last about 10 to 12 minutes, and adult tickets are available starting at $22.50 for daytime trips, and $27.50 for the evening outings. Private corporate event packages are also available, and the balloon's park-like base can host catered functions while as as many as 25 guests at a time go up for a ride. Company logos or banners may be placed on the gondola for events. Group packages and pricing are available on request.
