The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will open its new nightclub, Vanity, on New Year's Eve, followed by an official grand opening party January 2 with host Diddy. The Nightlife Group (whose other properties include Rare 120 and Wasted Space) along with co-owner Jason Giambi are behind the project.

The entrance makes use of reflective tile and antique vanity mirrors. Pearls, hand-cut crystals, and reflective bronze and gold walls bedeck the interior. A chandelier lit from within by more than 20,000 LED lights illuminates the dance floor. V.I.P. seating lines the perimeter of the 80-foot sunken dance floor, and a center seating area borders a lantern-lined catwalk.

The 14,000 square-foot venue has two marble bars, 50 V.I.P. booths, an outdoor terrace with cabanas, and a fire pit. The space offers direct access to the new outdoor Sky Bar, slated to open in April 2010. Apropos of the venue's name, nail and makeup technicians staff the ladies lounge for touchups, and bathrooms are outfitted with full-length mirrors.

Vanity is part of the Hard Rock’s $750 million expansion, which includes the Paradise Tower and the HRH Tower.
