Think you just need to monitor Facebook and Twitter? Consumers pressuring ProFlowers to stop advertising took their case to Amazon.com. Hoping the campaign only affects national companies? Small businesses are now feeling the heat, too.

4. DISNEY REELS FROM FLOP: An extensive marketing campaign that included a Super Bowl ad wasn't enough to save Disney’s “John Carter” from being a box-office flop. The sci-fi movie, with its $350 million production and marketing budget, is expected to lose about $200 million and contribute to a second-quarter loss of up to $120 million for Disney. 5. TWEET TAKEOVER: A Rogers Communications Twitter ploy failed miserably on Friday. The promoted hashtag #Rogers1Number, a new service from the media and telecommunications giant, was highjacked by angry customers who used the hashtag to complain about Rogers services. The Globe and Mail:

6. PROMOTING IRELAND: St. Patrick's Day carried over to this week as Irish officials promoted the country as a tourism and business destination to audiences in Chicago, New York, and Washington. “As a professional diplomat, it’s the busiest working day of the year,” Irish ambassador Michael Collins told The Washington Post. “St. Patrick’s Day is no longer a day—it’s a week, it’s a festival.”
