In April, the Dolce Group opened Rare 120Âş at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the group's first foray into the Las Vegas dining scene, and the latest addition to its $40 million restaurant portfolio. The Dolce Group partnered with the Hard Rock nightlife group on the project, a high-style steak house with graffiti-look chairs, exotic wood finishes, and stainless steel accents.
A lounge area with a changing screen of images and designs on the wall is elevated slightly above the restaurant space, providing people-watching vistas.
The menu encourages diners to customize their meals with dishes from chef Jon Snyder’s cold, crisp, hot, surf, turf, and sides categories. Dishes include Kobe meatballs, barbecued beer-braised short rib sliders, and "Surf & Turf Lollipops," with cubes of filet mignon, jumbo asparagus, and Alaskan crab with a red wine demiglace and béarnaise sauce.
The space is available for buyouts with a capacity of about 120 seated in the dining room, plus an additional 50 in the lounge, for a total of about 170 seated or 300 for receptions. A private dining room seats 12.
