Slated to open in CityCenter on December 4, the Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas stands at the entrance to the massive new complex. The 47-story nongaming hotel offers high-end accommodations, dining, and a spa.
The Mandarin Oriental has 392 rooms and suites, as well as 227 residences. The hotel’s Sky Lobby on the 23rd floor offers sweeping views over the skyline. Rooms have keyless door locks and automated control panels that allow guests to manage the lighting, room temperature, and entertainment systems. Three presidential suites on the top floors each measure more than 3,200 square feet.
Dining and drinking options include MOzen Bistro for Asian dishes and other global fare, the 23rd-floor Mandarin Bar, and the Tea Lounge adjacent to the Sky Lobby. Amore Patisserie, on Las Vegas Boulevard, serves pastries, coffee, and tea. Twist by Pierre Gagnaire, on the 23rd floor, is the only restaurant in the U.S. from the three-star Michelin chef.
The 27,000-square-foot bilevel spa has 17 treatment rooms, a large fitness center, and a dedicated yoga studio. Guests of the hotel will also have access to a pool facility with 20 cabanas and a café.
More than 12,000 square feet of function space can accommodate events with as many as 600 guests. On the third floor and filled with natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows, the 7,650-square-foot Oriental Ballroom and the hotel’s three smaller function rooms are equipped with high-tech systems and prefunction areas.
