Phoenix-based Kool Party Rentals has signed a lease on a new San Diego location. In August, the national rental dealer of event furniture and illuminated decor will open its Southern California location in a loft-like space in Little Italy—but the company has already started working on events in town.
“San Diego has a bustling special events and meeting industry,” said Kool owner Jack Weiner in a release. “And we thought, why wait? This economy actually offers companies such as ours that are positioned correctly an unprecedented opportunity for expansion. We started Kool with the intention to offer innovative and exciting inventory. We wanted our business model to be just as forward-thinking.”
Anthony Griffin has been named general manager of the San Diego showroom.
