This Week: Halloween Bash, Networker, and Benefit

Tonight the Hotel Victor in Miami Beach celebrates Halloween by transforming into Hotel Victor/Victoria, based on the Broadway hit. The Julie Andrews movie will be projected on a large screen on the hotel's pool deck. On Wednesday, the Public Relations Society of America will host a networking event at La Cuisine Gourmet in Coral Gables. The evening will begin with a cooking class; attendees can then eat what they've made while making new connections. On Sunday, the 19th annual South Florida Riverwalk Blues Festival takes place in Fort Lauderdale at the Downtowner Riverwalk Stage. Blues diva Mary Washington Brooks, E.G. Kite, Renee Austin, and Sharrie Williams are scheduled to perform.

Next Week: Cruise Debut

Wednesday, November 9: Carnival Cruise Lines debuts its newest ship, the Liberty, with an overnight gala benefiting Camillus House and United Way of Miami Dade. The ship sets sail from the Port of Miami with 2,400 community sponsors at 6 PM.
