The fifth annual Johnny Ferlita Memorial Fishing Tournament begins today at the Tampa Bayside Marina to benefit the Pediatric Cancer Foundation. The tournament runs until Saturday and kicks off with a Captain's Meeting and Dinner Party, catered by the Columbia Restaurant with live music by the Cuban Social Club… The Once Upon a Time Ball to benefit the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Baptist Children's Hospital will take place tomorrow at the InterContinental Hotel Miami. A Magical World of Wonders is the theme for this event.

Moroso Motorsports Park will be honored at the gala with the 2006 Providencia Award, the County's most prestigious tourism award…The Center Place Fine Arts and Civic Association will host an adventure-themed 22nd annual Patron Party at the Tampa Convention Center.
