Hyatt Steakhouse Has Jazzy Sounds and Classy Decor

Having opened the last week of January at Broward's newly renamed Hyatt Regency Bonaventure (formerly the Wyndham Bonaventure Resort and Spa), hotelier/restaurateur Tom Ireland's latest creation is a casual-attire restaurant called Ireland's Steakhouse, open from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. The steak house is decorated with several paintings and mirrors on its walls, and usually provides a jazz soundtrack in the background. Although it cannot allow for live entertainment because of its layout, the restaurant can host as many as 45 guests for private functions on Sundays and Mondays, when it's closed to the public. The venue, whose menu ranges from certified Angus beef aged 21 days to fresh seafood, seats 56, and includes a bar that's roughly 15 feet long. Two on-site wine cabinets have also become part of the space's decor.
