The proximity to Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport is fabulous. Also, the ocean and the Intracoastal waterway are both right there, so you can take your group to the beach, go fishing, or go on a cruise.
Why Hollywood, instead of other South Florida locations with similar amenities?
Some of the other areas have so much going on that all the movement takes over your event. Hollywood is more laid-back and removed from all that, while still having plenty to do.
Do you have a favorite venue there?
I really like the Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa. They have a ballroom that was really very well planned for events and has a lot of things that no other facility does. Plus, it's the largest ballroom in Broward County, other than the convention center.
