South Florida ISES Announces Awards and Installs New Board

On Wednesday night, the South Florida/Caribbean chapter of the International Special Event Society hosted its annual awards and installation dinner for 70 at the Manor Complex in Wilton Manors. Vice president of membership Victoria DiSilvio of Engaging Events and Weddings and chapter director Michael Rohrs from Premier Event Staffing, which also provided the entertainment, designed and coordinated the 1970s-themed cocktail, dinner, and dancing event.

Outgoing president Aimee Zadak also presented Lani Tole, Phyllis Cambria, and Shari Lynn Rothstein with Creative Recognition Awards for their service to the chapter during the past year.

Local companies contributing to the dinner included Aroma Espresso (beverages), Chef of Distinction (catering), Nancy’s Cakes (catering), Design Elements (draping), Lepaire Productions (entertainment) Panache Style (flowers), Room Service by AFR Event Furnishings (furniture), Uplyte (lighting), Over the Top Rental Party Linens (linens), Event Outfitters (rentals), and Fast Signs (printing). The venue provided the sound equipment, staging, and DJ.
