More than 1,000 mostly female attendees swarmed the Moore Building to look for new fashions and innovative health and beauty productsβand to spend time bonding with the girls. A wealth of vendors (38 in all) participated in the event, many of whom are regular vendors at Shecky's events in other cities. Local designers and boutiques were also represented, such as Rucht D'Oleo Designs and Yupster Apparel. Representatives from local outlets of Crunch gyms, one of the event's sponsors, had information tables and were selling fitness gear.
Each floor boasted a different beverage sponsor, with each arranging unique sitting areas to cater to its particular brand and lifestyle. The Amarula Cream African spirit company hosted its product beneath a safari-style tent with various cocktail choices available for thirsty shoppers. Finlandia offered a Scandinavian-themed lounge where weary shoppers rested their high-heeled feet and sampled the company's signature martinis.
Revlon, an event sponsor, had a temporary makeup counter with stylists on hand to provide makeovers and product applications for curious customers. All vendors were equipped with portable credit card machines, to ease transactions.
The deluxe gift bag contained wooden hangers from the Great American Hanger Company, hair products from Ellin Lavar and Jonathan Product, skin-care samples from Cetaphil and Sea Breeze, jewelry from Eda & Betty Couture, and a book titled The Corporate Dominatrix.
