More than 300 fashion enthusiasts, Boca Raton Museum of Art members, and other guests from the community flocked to the Boca Raton Town Center for the opening of the newest Elie Tahari boutique. Cohosted by the museum and the designer himself, the event celebrated the first boutique to use the dramatic design elements originally conceived for the East Hampton store, including a floating shelf system.
Guests were immediately welcomed into the store and offered a glass of champagne or wine upon arrival."I wanted them to come to the party and feel loved from the moment they walked in the store to the moment they left," said Tahari. "It's all about the human contact involved to create an atmosphere."
Throughout the night, guests perused the designer's latest work and new store arrangement and mingled with Tahari and other Boca V.I.P.s in attendance. They enjoyed passed hors d'oeuvres from Contemporary Caterers including spinach and feta phyllo triangles, mini beef Wellington, goat cheese and sun-dried tomato quesadillas, and nova salmon canapés.
