Calling him "the Zen master of the party circuit," Harper's Bazaar reports that event designer Antony Todd is opening both a Manhattan design shop with exotic flowers, candles and party props, and a West Coast office. Australian-born Todd did the Winter Wonderland Ball (using thousands of candles at the New York Botanical Garden) and Tommy Mottola's wedding reception (making a lush rose-and-lily garden at the Regent Wall Street). His style: "Calming, ethereal decor," he says.
